    Silent screams, untold dreams
    Night air tingles with calamity
Regurgitated Psalms, holding one inch palms
    Murderous shrills of insanity.

    Blessed tree, wise you be
Bring forth fruit in thy sea-son
    Ever sighing, man denying
But forever you shall cry treason!

    Bloody hands now they clasp
    Together ever pouring
Take a breath one more time
    Your savior’s house alluring

    In deep thought sunken hearts
    Now beyond the deep abyss
    Never would hands be held
Unknown the power of a kiss

    Five cm on metal bed
    Five min of final breath
    Latex gloves surrenders now
As life now reeks of death

:wow: Nick! This reminds me of a sick bay in a war zone...all the passion and disillusionment and hopelessness of lives cut short and never having really lived. What was your thought throughout this piece, or was it sort of random?

    Dear Intricate,

In my interpretation, I envisioned a hellish war, the demise of souls before their true calling. People at the end of all their worldly hope, being sucked into a black hole of death, by the hands of war. Souls losing their minds, yet sane enough to call on the Lord, for their time, shortened by such calamity. The person at the end, could not be saved, as the surgeons hands surrender. This painting is full of despair, blackened hearts, minds lost, souls lost, blood shed, and the only slither of hope is the last prayer for forgiveness and acceptance by our Saviour. Very raw, vivid, real, and heart wrenching. To never have the opportunity to have love or that powerful kiss as their catalyst is an overwhelming thought that brings tears to my eyes. A very, very powerful, gripping, heart breaking, poignant, and happening now piece. Just wow, I am speechless.

    Dear Intricate,

I read this again, and oh how beautiful is the power of poetry to meander our poetic thoughts in many, many directions. Today after reading, I thought of the Lord coming back.
Who knows where the power of this piece takes me when I read it again. Thanks for sharing.
