    Rape on Stage
    A Lie is a disease
It pretends a truth and you give it weight
A Lie obeys cunning of its mother
    It never leaves her side
    Sincerity is a disease
In it’s naive authenticity duly acts its role
    Falls a victim
    Ridiculed and worthless
    Liar is a creator
    She is the bending mirror
    With her malformed offspring
    She reigns
    Stage is set
    Drama about to unravel
    Word by word
    Act by act
    Enciphered script
With fervor you learn by heart
    Perform your role
    But curtain never goes down
    A play
    Flipped it into reality
She wore you in devils clothes
Made you say things you never said
    Exposed crimes you never committed
    Bent mirror reflects a monster
    Audience in awe
    You’re a beast
    Unnatural
    Jail him up
Victim was a role set upon me
    Veiled it arrived
In a naive suit of sincerity I melt

    back and forth
    from honesty
    to integration
    of acting
    back to
    wishing
    acting was fake
    lording over
    ones
    self reacting
    nonsense
    fading
    into
    mixed bag
    of dickface
    please act
    if you knew
    the way
    to say
    this is all
    part of
    shoe-ing
    the act
    i say it's
    crews on the stash
    we found the point
    between
    i found kraken

    ugh.........
    welll, anway, (tab button)
    i thought this poem
    i thought it captured
    not such rhythm
    but the meaning
    in the way
    meaning falls out
    with each line
    well, it falls away
    and as such
    then well, then, you know
    like,
    stuff happens...
    I'M SORRY!
    I DON'T KNOW! WHAT
    IS A GOOD REVIEW
    OF AN
    AMAZING POEM
    WHO KNOWS?!
    FUCK IT!
    IT'S A GREAT POEM!
    IT DEPICTS MANY ASPECTS
    AT ONCE!
    WHAT DO YOU SAY?!
    HUH!
    FUCK IT!!
    GREAT POEM!!

    You okay jakeminickjakeminick? LOL
This is an interesting write ÅströmmerÅströmmer - The last 2 lines pretty much sum it up:

Do victims ever choose their role? Only when involved in role playing games I'd imagine... Otherwise they usually stumble into victimhood, naive and unaware, blindly even... if indeed they stumble at all, an antagonist standing erect, his eyes burning with malicious intent.

This piece speaks to me about the loss of power, the yielding into the truth of powerlessness. This poem sort of takes me to the serenity prayer: God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change...

IDK - I'm rambling. But this was an enjoyable read.
    What was your inspiration?
