A Star-filled Night

    With love infused
    upon a star-filled night
    a joyous awakening
    lifted my plight,

    a universe to see
    as vision's door opened
    to bring to the rim
    all that had been spoken.

    A glimmering light
    on such a night
    brought forth a star
    that shone so bright

    that nothing else could be seen,

    for what is there but brightness
    that the truth of love beholds
    and in that presence
    no shadow forebodes

    —because its existence cannot withstand
    a love and light so strong.

    Anything about stars, the moon or night time always makes me happy. I really enjoyed reading your poem, it has a woozy, dreamy feeling to it. Lovely stuff.

    This could have been a great Christmas poem and at the same time its good fr the whole year too .. like everybody else I love the stars too and a lot of my own favorite poems have stars playing a big role in them .. secretly I believe a good poem should have a few stars thrown into them fr good effect. however I am completely going off topic with my love fr stars here so Ill just say great starry poem my friend.
